  52.     HWGRCS is a port of GNU RCS 5.6.0.1 done with SAS/C 6.51.
  53.  
  54.     The Revision Control System (RCS) manages multiple revisions
  55.     of  files.   RCS  automates the storing, retrieval, logging,
  56.     identification, and merging of revisions.  RCS is useful for
  57.     text that is revised frequently, for example programs, docu-
  58.     mentation, graphics, papers, and form letters.
  59.  
  60.     For upgraders from the old RCS 4.x on Fish 281/282:

  62.         - HWGRCS supports the RCS_link feature
  63.         - No problems with non-ASCII characters
